Events Calender

The Miami Law Events Calendar has been designed for the efficiency of scheduling and planning events. Though the system is user-friendly, brief training is recommended. You can email studentorgs@law.miami.edu to request training or view one of the videos below.

Note: Please use "Firefox" or "Chrome" browsers to open these forms. Use your CANE ID Credentials “Username” and “Password is your CNumber"

Request Resources

Parking for guest speakers can be requested by emailing studentorgs@law.miami.edu. Include your event information, visitor's name, liscence plate number, and dates and times. 

Speaker gifts have been funded by L.A.F.A.C. and are available to all student organizations. Email studentorgs@law.miami.edu with how many guest speakers will be attending your event. 

Catering Vendors

The university maintains a list of trusted vendors that can cater events big and small for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For larger events, the law school events office will assist. Please review and choose a caterer that suits your event.

  • Flyers

    Flyer templates are for events with outside speakers or guests that you want to highlight in a professional way. Smaller, social gathering or themed gatherings may create their own flyer and email to agowaty@law.miami.edu for approval before posting.

  • Name Tags

    Name tags can be printed from Microsoft Word onto (size) sticker name tags for students, alumni, and guests. You can preprint ready name tags or print blank name tags and allow event attendees to fill out the name tags with marker.

    Student leaders are responsible for taking attendence at meeting.

    For events with visiting speakers or a speaking agenda, a run of show is helpful to communicate who speaks and when.
