Founded in the Spring of 2021, this group sought to create a space for students with disabilities, students who are passionate about disability advocacy, and those hoping to learn more about the intersection between disability and daily life as a law student. Though the group is new, it will work to advocate and educate within the Miami Law community in an effort to foster a more accessible and disability-conscious campus. By bringing students together, sharing experiences and insights learned from living with a disability as a law student, and hosting events featuring a wide-range of individuals living with disabilities and pursuing disability justice in myriad ways, the group hopes to provide support to all students at Miami Law and meet community needs with regards to disability and accessibility.
