The Technology Law Club connects Miami Law students with the legal and policy issues shaping today’s tech-driven world. Building on the momentum of Miami’s booming startup scene, we aim to prepare students to advise founders, build tech careers, and engage with cutting-edge legal challenges in AI, data privacy, intellectual property, and beyond. We believe lawyers have a critical role to play in shaping responsible innovation and protecting the public interest in emerging technologies. By blending legal education with real-world exposure, we empower students to lead in both the courtroom and the boardroom.
As the tech landscape evolves, we want Miami Law students to be at the center of it—whether through programs like LawWithoutWalls, Miami Law & AI (MiLA) Lab, the Startup Clinic, or this club. Our mission is to foster collaboration, curiosity, and career development at the intersection of law and innovation—locally and globally.
