The Student Bar Association is the governing body for University of Miami School of Law students and acts as a liaison between the administration and students. The SBA is controlled by the Senate and the Executive Board, which are elected by the student body. The Senate is governed by 1L, 2L, and 3L representatives. The Executive Board is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, ABA Representative, and Historian. Our mission is to increase student involvement in the law school's operation, to protect student rights, to promote student standards of professional responsibility, and to contribute to the cohesiveness of the student body.
